Risk Management Program
Challenge
The energy group was executing a strategic investment project involving the construction of a power generation unit, which required a comprehensive risk management program. The key challenge was aligning the developed risk assessment model with the integrated risk management system of the capital group, while also ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety (HSE) management policies.
Solution
We developed a comprehensive risk management program tailored to the organization’s internal context. We identified project risks, developed techniques and criteria for risk assessment and measurement, conducted the evaluation process with key stakeholders, and prepared response plans.

- Risk identification and assessment: ranked list and categorization of project risks
- Risk maps: prioritization and assignment of risk owners
- Response plans: development aligned with the group’s risk management process
- Monitoring system: procedures, reporting templates, and organizational structure
As part of the project, we carried out a detailed risk assessment process involving key stakeholders of the power plant construction project. We developed rules for risk review, registration, and updates, as well as procedures for reporting risk occurrences and assessing the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
